Jai learns about his father Veera Simha Reddy, who resides in Pulicherla, Andhra Pradesh, as they approach their engagement.

Veera Simha Reddy travels to Istanbul at Meenakshi's request to discuss Jai's engagement, but things quickly go awry when Veera Simha Reddy is murdered by Musali Madugu Pratap Reddy and his wife, Bhanumati, who is later revealed to be Veera Simha Reddy's half-sister and Jai's aunt.

                                      

Jai, Meenakshi, and Eesha return to Pulicherla bearing Veera Simha Reddy's body, distraught over his passing.

                                               

Due to the former's murder of Pratap Reddy's father, Gangi Reddy, in vengeance for the latter's murder of a boy's parents, Veera Simha Reddy and Pratap Reddy's enmity developed.

Shekhar Reddy, one of Veera Simha Reddy's men, and Bhanumati fall in love and shortly announce their engagement.

Bhanumathi, who was devastated and furious, abused Veera Simha Reddy and wed Pratap Reddy in order to enlist his assistance in killing Veera Simha Reddy in order to get revenge for Shekhar's passing.

When Jai becomes aware of this, Jayaram's plans to seize the farmer's land are stopped, and he succeeds Veera Simha Reddy.
Later, Bhanumathi learns that Shekhar was actually murdered by Pratap Reddy because he wouldn't work with him to defeat Veera Simha Reddy.

Bhanumathi, who is distraught, arrives at Veera Simha Reddy's house, apologises to the family, asks Jai to kill Pratap Reddy, and then hangs herself.
