Meet Vik, a South Asian American rapper who is struggling to find his place in the world. He spends his days lounging around his apartment, scrolling through social media and dreaming of the fame and fortune that he believes is just around the corner.

But Vik's world is turned upside down when he learns that his ex-girlfriend, Maya, is about to get engaged to a wealthy man from a prominent family. Determined to win Maya back and disrupt her pending engagement, Vik comes up with a wild plan to steal her family's wedding diamonds from the grocery store they own.
