 Domestic couple Mark and Nina West are debating whether to obtain a divorce before anything transpired as they fly to Milwaukee to visit Nina's parents.

A surviving Nailer accompanied Mark and Nina to Nathan's house so they could meet his wife and children, but when they found out they had been fed human meat, the meeting turned tragic. Nina was hurt, and Mark and Nina fled, leaving Nathan's wife and daughter to be killed in the woods.

Mark releases the slave out of pity for William's earlier treatment of him, and Nathan leaves, forgiving Mark and abandoning his plan to exact revenge while wishing Mark and Nina success.

In the end, Nina and Mark prevail, the Gangs disperse with their surviving members, and Betsy gives Mark her wedding ring, which Nina had left at the abandoned house with the statement "for her." Betsy is then shot in the head from behind, and Nina later kills Betsy's assailant.

At Nina's parents' home, Mark and Nina share an embrace as they catch their breath.
